Team India players tend to exhibit a remarkable camaraderie, as evidenced from their collective success and celebration, and bonding both on and off the field. One of the prime examples of their off-field friendship occurred when a cheerful Rohit Sharma engaged in a playoff board-room game with an equally-enthusiastic Ravindra Jadeja.

The moment in question refers to the time when both Sharma and Jadeja challenged each other for a little game of ‘Heads-Up’ during Team India’s all-format trip to West Indies in August 2019.

When Ravindra Jadeja mimicked Kohli and Bumrah

In August 2019, i.e., barely a month after Team India suffered a demoralizing semifinal defeat to New Zealand at the 2019 World Cup, the ‘Men in Blue’ travelled to the Caribbean shores for an all-format series against hosts West Indies.

During the ODI segment of the tour, senior pros Rohit Sharma and Ravindra Jadeja challenged each other in a game of ‘Heads Up’ after a board-room meeting.

As per the norms, Jadeja was tasked to mimic teammates Jasprit Bumrah and Virat Kohli, thus igniting a laugh riot among those present in the room, including Kohli himself.

Ravindra Jadeja and Rohit Sharma recently turned up for Team India in their first home Test of the series against England.

With Jadeja coping a hamstring injury in the series, the star all-rounder is currently working his way towards attaining full recovery for the remaining matches. Captain Sharma, on the other hand, will now be seen leading the Indian team in the third Test against England at Rajkot from February 15 onwards.
