'Meaningless And...': Ravindra Jadeja Rubbishes Father’s Claims About Wife Rivaba

Indian all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja has urged his fans to ignore a certain “scripted interview” currently circulating online. The interview in question features his father making sensational claims about how Ravindra’s wife Rivaba has created a “rift” in the family.

Just as the interview surfaced online on February 9, the Indian cricketer was quick to refute all claims through a social media post. Jadeja took to X (formerly Twitter) and stated that the interview was a “one-sided” narrative which featured “meaningless” accusations.

Ravindra Jadeja rubbishes father’s interview

Ravindra Jadeja has rubbished father’s “nonsense interview” to Divyabhaskar, and described the contents of the same as “meaningless and untrue”. The cricketer rejected the claims and urged his fans and followers to ignore all “scripted interviews” on the internet.

The 35-year-old added that the interview was “one-sided” and he himself has a lot to add from his end, but will not be doing so on a public platform. Taking to the microblogging site, he wrote:

“All the things said in the nonsense interview given to Divyabhaskar are meaningless and untrue. It is said on one side. Which I reject. The attempts made to tarnish the image of my godmother are truly reprehensible and unbecoming. I also have a lot to say which is fine as long as I don’t say it publicly.”

Earlier, Ravindra’s father Anirudhsinh Jadeja had claimed that he does not shares a healthy relationship with his son and his wife Rivaba. He also accused Rivaba of creating a rift in the family, and added that he has not seen his granddaughter in five years.

On the cricketing front, Ravindra Jadeja is currently recovering from the hamstring injury he sustained during the second Test match against England at Vizag this month.

While it remains to be seen if the star all-rounder will be making his comeback to the team for the remaining three Tests, the cricketer is currently lined-up to represent the CSK franchise in the forthcoming IPL 2024 season.
