Northamptonshire County Cricket Club (NCCC) have announced that wicket-keeper Lewis McManus will be ruled out of the remainder of the ongoing domestic championship season following an injury. McManus broke his injury while playing in the Royal London Cup group tie against Derbyshire on August 23.
The keeper-batter will miss today's County Division One match against Surrey, next week's away match against Somerset, and the season finale versus Essex at home a week later. The club is currently placed fifth in the championship table with two wins, three losses, and six draws.
Northamptonshire last week signed McManus on a two-year deal from Hampshire after arriving on loan at the beginning of the 2022 season.
