In another set of County Championship Division-One games, starting from September 12, we will see the tussle between Northamptonshire and Surrey, Warwickshire and Somerset and Yorkshire and Essex.
Northamptonshire vs Surrey
Going head-to-head at County Ground, Northampton, Northamptonshire will host Surrey as both the sides gear up to play their 12th match of the season. While the Northants have emerged victorious in two matches and are lying at fifth position on the points table, Surrey enjoy the second spot, boasting of seven wins and four draws so far in their campaign.
Warwickshire vs Somerset
It is the battle between two of the cellar-dwellers. Somerset and Warwickshire are currently ranked at eighth and ninth position on the points table. The former has won two matches, and their remaining fixtures have resulted in five losses and four draws, while the latter recorded a sole win in addition to five losses and as many draws.
Yorkshire vs Essex
In another Division-One tie, Yorkshire and Essex will lock horns. Placed sixth in the standings, Yorkshire's season has shaped up in the form of a solitary win, three losses and seven draws. On the other hand, Essex are situated at the fourth spot, having five wins, two losses and four draws in their tally.
