No Cummins & Starc As Hayden Picks His Team Of IPL 2024; Puts Virat Kohli At 3

Former Indian Premier League (IPL) winner and the top scorer of the 2009 season, Matthew Hayden has picked his team of the season for IPL 2024 consisting of 12 players and surprisingly only four Indians make it to his team.
Hayden has gone with Sunil Narine and fellow Aussie, Travis Head as his two openers. Coming into the final, the two left-handers have scored 1049 runs among them at a combined strike rate of 186 scoring a century each while Narine has scored 3 fifties alongside Head's 4. Narine has also taken 16 wickets coming into the final.
His middle order consists of the orange cap winner, Virat Kohli who has scored 754 runs striking at 154.7, Sanju Samson who ended with 531 runs at 153 followed by Nicholas Pooran, Riyan Parag and Heinrich Klaasen who have 499, 573 and 479 runs in the season respectively.
The two spinners that feature in the ex-orange cap winner's team are Yuzvendra Chahal and Varun Chakravarthy with 18 and 21 wickets respectively
Jasprit Bumrah with 20 wickets leads the pace attack for Hayden alongside Sandeep Sharma (13 wickets) and Avesh Khan (19 wickets).
