The ultimate underdog of the 2023 Asia Cup, Nepal, will be facing a miraculous task on their first outing in the competition. They are placed in Group A with Pakistan and India, making it nearly impossible for them to advance to the Super Four before one of the top two title contenders. However, cricket is still a sport, so anything is possible.

Nepal's Asia Cup campaign will begin on August 30 when they take on Pakistan at Multan Cricket Stadium. A relatively young 17-member squad will continue to be led by promising 20-year-old Rohit Paudel, while Sandeep Lamichhane, Karan KC, and Kushal Malla are some of the more recognizable names.

Nepal have begun their preparations for the Asia Cup in Pakistan. They, however, will travel to Sri Lanka for their fixture against India. The biggest loss for them will be Gyanendra Malla, who retired from all cricket earlier this month.
