Even after hanging up his boots for Team India, Dhoni continues to capture the hearts of fans with his genuine interactions.

Known for his funny exchanges and easy-going nature, the 43-year-old legend took a moment during his leisure ride around his hometown to make a fan’s day by autographing their two-wheeler.

This incident comes amidst swirling debates about Dhoni’s retirement and his potential return for the IPL 2025 season.

While opinions are split on whether the stalwart should continue to grace the cricket field, Dhoni himself remains non-committal, focusing instead on the regulatory future and best interests of his long-time IPL team.

“The rules and regulations will be made for retentions. There is still a lot of time for all that. We will decide once we get to know about the rules and regulations. The ball is not in our court right now. When the rules get formalized, then we will decide," Dhoni stated, hinting at a possible return depending on the IPL’s retention policies.

Meanwhile, after a storied IPL career, leading to five IPL titles, Dhoni passed the captaincy torch to Ruturaj Gaikwad last season.

As Dhoni faces his post-retirement life with the same finesse he showed on the pitch, his recent fan interaction shows his never-ending popularity and the lasting mark he has left on the sport and its fans.
