In what comes as a shocking development, veteran Indian cricketer Rohit Sharma is all set to leave Mumbai Indians and enter the IPL mega auction pool ahead of the eighteenth season of the tournament. 

As reported by ABP News, the legendary Indian batter is apparently unhappy with the decisions of newly recruited skipper Hardik Pandya. 

Also, given he has led the franchise to five IPL titles, Rohit expected the management to treat him respectfully, which they arguably didn't, replacing him with Pandya as their captain for IPL 2024. 

Moreover, the report also claims that some big MI names are likely to register in the auction pool, expecting to bag a more lucrative offer from some other franchise.
