As many as 333 players have been confirmed to go under the hammer during the Indian Premier League (IPL) auction, which is scheduled to take place in Dubai on December 19.

Unsurprisingly, Mitchell Starc, Travis Head, Gerald Coetzee, Wanindu Hasaranga, Harry Brook, and Rachin Ravindra—who have been projected to get big bucks from the bidding wars—have all made the cut in the final shortlist.

The youngest athlete in the final pool is South Africa's 17-year-old Kwena Maphaka. On the other hand, the oldest player on this list is Afghanistan's veteran all-rounder Mohammed Nabi, 39.

In total, 114 overseas players will be available for franchises, whereas the other 219, of course, are from India. There are currently 77 slots available, with up to 30 reserved for players from foreign countries.

Harry Brook, Travis Head, Karun Nair, Manish Pandey, Rovman Powell, Rilee Rossouw, and Steve Smith will be part of Set 1 during the auctions. After that, in Set 2, Pat Cummins, Wanindu Hasaranga, Gerald Coetzee, Daryl Mitchell, Rachin Ravindra, Shardul Thakur, Harshal Patel, Azmatullah Omarzai, and Chris Woakes will be up for grabs.

Meanwhile, Mitchell Starc will be available in Set 4, alongside Lockie Ferguson, Josh Hazlewood, Alzaari Joseph, Shivam Mavi, Chetan Sakariya, Jaydev Unadkat, Umesh Yadav, and Dilshan Madushanka.

The auction will begin on December 19 at 1 PM local time (Dubai), which is 2:30 PM IST.
