On May 21, Mumbai Indians will lock horns against Delhi Capitals at the Wankhede Stadium. It is a crucial match for both teams as only one spot is up for grabs for the playoffs and DC, MI are the two teams alive in race for that spot.

Notably, the upcoming game will the last match at the Wankhede Stadium for the season and it will also be Rohit Sharma's first appearance since announcing his Test retirement. Notably, ahead of the important match, Rohit Sharma fans are planning something special for the hitman. 

Rohit Fans Likely To Turn Up In Whites For MI vs DC Match

According to the recent social media buzz and trends, Rohit fans are eyeing to pay tribute to the hitman by wearing white jersey. Inspired by RCB fans, the MI fans are likely to turn up at the Wankhede Stadium by wearing Rohit's 45 numbered Test jersey as he recently announced his Test retirement in a shocking manner. 

It is worth noting that a few days after Rohit's retirement, Virat Kohli too announced his retirement, which sent a shockwave among the fans. As a tribute RCB fans decided to turn up wearing whites at the Chinnaswamy Stadium on May 18 for RCB vs KKR match. However, the rain played a spoil sport and the match couldn't take place, but the Chinnaswamy turned into a sea of white. 

For the unversed, Rohit fans have started 'Wear White For Rohit' trend on Twitter, where influential Rohit fan pages are leading the cause and urging the fans to turn up at the Wankhede Stadium wearing white. 

It is also worth noting that the upcoming match against Delhi Capitals will be hitman's first match after unveiling of his stand that was inaugurated recently in the presence of Maharashtra CM and his family at the Wankhede Stadium.
