On Sunday, September 29, the BCB unveiled their entire 15-player squad for their upcoming T20I series against hosts India. Star all-rounder Mehidy Hasan Miraz earned a call back into his team’s T20I setup after a gap of 14 months, considering he played the last of his 25 T20Is back in July 2023 against Afghanistan. His return in the shortest format is happening after the T20I retirement confirmation from Shakib Al Hasan.

Opening batter Parvez Hossain Emon and spinner Rakibul Hasan also received their respective call-ups to the national squad. All-format captain Najmul Hossain Shanto will continue to lead Bangladesh in the series, and he will be joined by fellow senior members Litton Das, Mustafizur Rahman and Taskin Ahmed.
