India are gearing up for the Champions Trophy 2025, marking the return of the tournament after eight years. In the last Champions Trophy in 2017, India finished as the runner-up, losing to Pakistan in the final. This time, India, led by Rohit Sharma, has been placed in Group A. Their first match will be against Bangladesh on February 20 at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium. The much-anticipated India vs Pakistan match is set for Sunday.

For the 2025 tournament, India’s coaching staff has some key names. Former Indian cricketer Gautam Gambhir will be taking the lead as the head coach. Known for his sharp cricketing mind, Gambhir has already played a big role in shaping the team’s strategy. Morne Morkel, the legendary South African fast bowler, will be the bowling coach. Sitanshu Kotak, an experienced player, will guide the batters. T Dilip, the fielding coach, has been instrumental in improving India’s close-in fielding.

The first semifinal will be held in Dubai on March 4, and if India makes it to the final, that match will also be played in Dubai on March 9.

India will have at least three group-stage matches in Dubai. They will face Bangladesh, Pakistan, and New Zealand. If they advance to the semifinals and final, those matches will also take place at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium.
