The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 is set to resume after one week's suspension and the first match will take place between the favourites, Royal Challengers Bengaluru up against the Kolkata Knight Riders at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru. The game will be a special occasion for RCB batter, Virat Kohli.
Kohli, announced his shocking retirement from Tests, a few days ago and it sent a shockwaves amongst the Indian cricket fans. The retirement news came out of nowhere and this has left a massive void, not only in Indian Test team but for Indian fans as well.
With the game against KKR coming up, the RCB fans have left no stones unturned to make this outing memorable for Kohli and he is set to receive two massive tributes tonight.
Tributes set to pour in for Kohli
After Kohli retired from Tests, the RCB fans in particular decided to honour him in a spectacular way. Test cricket was the format which Kohli loved the most and the white Indian Test jersey was his beloved. Hence, to honour him, the RCB fans will wear white jerseys as a fitting tribute to the player who took Test cricket to a different level.

Second, Mangalore RCB FC, the fan page of the Bengaluru based IPL side will honour the India great with a 50ft banner in the stands with a banner - "Thank you King Kohli, #269."
The fans will also hope that Kohli delights them with a wonderful display of batting as he has a golden chance to score 600-runs in the IPL and also help RCB qualify for playoffs.
