On Sunday, July 20, Bangladesh scripted history as the Litton Das-led side registered their fastest win over Pakistan in T20I history. Notably, the hosts beat the Men in Green by seven wickets with 27 balls in hand. 

Pakistan, batting first, tumbled for just 110 runs, courtesy of a three-wicket haul from Taskin Ahmed, who also completed 250 international wickets.

Bangladesh Register Fastest Win Over Pakistan In T20Is

In reply, Bangladesh got off to a shaky start as they lost two early wickets, but Parvez Emon kept hitting the ball from one end and played a valuable knock of unbeaten 54 (36), which included three fours and five sixes. His knock helped the Tigers register a win with 30 balls in hand.

Notably, it was Bangladesh's fourth win over Pakistan in T20Is. In the previous three occasions, the Tigers have won after batting first. However, the recently concluded match was Bangladesh's fastest win in terms of balls remaining. 

Prior to this match, Bangladesh's fastest win over Pakistan came in 2015 at the same venue when the then Mashrafe Mortaza-led side beat the Men in Green with 27 balls remaining. Meanwhile, this article will look at the list of Bangladesh's fastest win over Pakistan in T20I history.

The Litton Das regime as Bangladesh captain has got off to a flying start as Bangaldesh were fresh off their maiden T20I series win over Sri Lanka and the delight has doubled after the historic win. 

Notably, it was the first time-ever that Bangladesh have bowled out Pakistan in a T20I match. Also, 110 is the lowest total for Pakistan against Bangladesh in the shortest format of the match.
