Indian wicket-keeper batter Rishabh Pant shared a heartwarming story to show his support for India competing against England in the 5th Test at The Oval. Pant, who was ruled out due to a fractured foot, is cheering for his team from the sidelines.

His injury was sustained after attempting a reverse sweep early in the Manchester Test, leading to instant swelling and visible pain. Pant was taken off the field on a golf buggy, and later scans confirmed a fracture, ruling him out of keeping duties and participation in the final Test.

Meanwhile, in the second inning, India’s pace attack appeared all over the place. England openers Ben Duckett and Zak Crawley piled up 92 runs in just 12.5 overs before Akash Deep got a breakthrough.

The openers batted with aggressive intent and maintained a run rate of over 6 runs per over before the lunch break. The initial attack put the Indian bowlers off track, but they picked up slack in the second session of Day 2, striking 4 wickets at 175 runs.
