Sanju Samson's IPL future has been the talk of the town in the last couple of months. There are speculations that CSK are keen to get his services after their disappointing campaign in IPL 2025.

The wicketkeeper batter and RR skipper also had a troublesome IPL 2025. His progress was hampered by injuries, and there have been numerous reports that have suggested that Samson had a fallout with the RR management. Thus, according to multiple sources, there are chances that he could be traded to CSK before the IPL 2026 auction.

However, there has been no official confirmation yet from any of the stakeholders concerned. Now, according to ZeeNews, Sanju Samson, while talking to a reporter in Malayalam, has made a remark on the topic. 

According to ZeeNews, Sanju Samson was asked about the rumours of him moving to Chennai Super Kings from Rajasthan Royals. In reply, Sanju said in Malayalam, "Onnum parayanilla", which translates in English as "I have nothing to say". This remark from Sanju Samson has further triggered speculations on social media as the wicketkeeper batter did not outrightly dismiss those rumours.

It has created more suspense and drama around his trade to CSK, and there are indications that there is some truth behind the rumours. Therefore, it would be interesting to see how Sanju Samson's IPL future shapes up, and it would be one of the most high-profile transfers if it does happen.

The transfer to CSK would also end Sanju Samson's long-standing relationship with the Rajasthan Royals. He made his IPL debut for the franchise back in 2013 and has been leading the Pink Army since the 2021 edition. There are also rumours that he might take over the leadership role of CSK from Ruturaj Gaikwad. However, all of it could be just social media hype, and RR might refrain from letting go of their captain, whom they retained for 18 crores.
