The Legends Intercontinental T20 League, which was set to commence on August 18, has been rescheduled, a press release stated on Friday.

Here is the unfortunate reason why LIT20 has been rescheduled

The inaugural edition of the tournament brought together elite teams and players representing different regions. The fans were ecstatic for the tournament to commence, but due to unforeseen reasons, the tournament has been rescheduled by the official management.

The official reason is not out yet, but as per sources, the players draft wasn't ready, plus, the logos of two out of seven participating teams wasn't made, which delayed the entire event. The rescheduled dates will be out soon as the fans anticipate the beginning of the tournament.

The competition will have seven teams competing against each other. These are Indo Kings, Asian Avengers, Euro Rangers, American Mavericks, Trans-Tasman Titans African Lions and Caribbean Vikings.

24 matches were scheduled, with two games in a single day. The opening fixture was between Indo Kings and Asian Avengers, but it will be interesting to see if the original fixture remains the same when the new schedule comes out.

Legendary players like Graeme Swann, Brett Lee, Tilakratne Dilshan and Liam Plunkett will participate in the league.
