There has been a lot of talk about MI's bowling resources not upto the mark this season. However, for the second game in a row their famed batting line-up has failed to deliver. In the first game, it was the heroics of Tilak Varma that took them to a respectable total but the young man could not do the same against CSK as MI have been restricted to 157  at their beloved, Wankhede Stadium.

They did start brightly though and raced to 38 in quick time before Tushar Deshpande knocked over Rohit Sharma to bring CSK back in the game. Ishan Kishan did continued on his merry ways for some time with Green alongside him but Dhoni - The mastermind brought his left-arm spinners into the attack and created another spin-choke as MI crumbled from 64-1 to 76-5. The spin duo of Jadeja-Santner picked 5 wickets between them as they ran through MI's middle order.

Tim David did hit some lusty blows but perished in the 17th over as Tushar Deshpande finished with 2 wickets which included the big wickets of Rohit Sharma and Tim David. Magala and Pretorius also did well in their first game of the season and overall, it was a complete bowling performance from CSK on a batting paradise at the Wankhede.

It seems a below-par target but MI Still have some runs on the board and let's see how things unfold in the second half of this El-Clasico...
