Indian spinner, Kuldeep Yadav, is a crucial member of the Indian bowling arsenal. In numerous interviews, he has not just credited his bowling excellence to the legendary spin master Shane Warne, but also shown a deep reverence for him, often expressing how he watches Warne's videos for inspiration.

Warne, a once in a lifetime bowler, left an indelible mark on the cricket world. His passing in March 2022 was a moment of profound loss, as he had bowed out from the game with 708 wickets in Tests and 293 in ODIs.

The 29-year-old Indian great, Kuldeep Yadav, recently paid a heartfelt tribute to Shane Warne. He was spotted alongside the statue of the late cricketer in Melbourne.

Used to watch him on the TV : Kuldeep Yadav on Warne

"I feel I am very lucky to have spent some time with him and to have been his good friend. I used to watch him on the television and observed how he used to dismiss the batters and his planning."

Kuldeep also added: "He was quite strong mentally. When I played in Sydney (2019 Test), he helped me quite a bit. I learnt my bowling from him and he is the person I have followed forever."

Kuldeep, who was seen in the India tour of Sri Lanka, will likely be seen in the upcoming Bangladesh Tour of India in September.
