'Koi Toh Batsman Chhod De': Netizens Frustrated As Hasan Mahmud Sends Rohit, Gill And Kohli Packing

Hasan Mahmud picked up the top three of India in the first Test [X]

India are left in a precarious stituation in the first of the two match Test series against Bangladesh in Chennai. The top order of the Indian team was sent back very early on a spicy track.

Najmul Hossain Shanto, the skipper of Bangladesh won the toss and opted to field first looking at the nature of the track. His bowlers responded brilliantly as they did not let the opening duo of India, Rohit Sharma and Yashasvi Jaiswal get off the blocks early.

The bowlers kept on bowling good line and lengths and made run scoring difficult for the batters. The persistence of the bowlers soon paid off, as in the sixth over of the innings, Rohit Sharma was sent back to the hut by Hasan Mahmud. 

The Bangladeshi pacer bowled a good length delivery at the off stump line that moved away a tad after pitching. Sharma was found playing the line of the delivery and thus edged it to second slip. Shubman Gill soon followed his captain as he fell while playing a casual shot down the leg stump. 

With the fall of the first two wickets, it was expected that Virat Kohli will propel India towards a formidable total. However, he too did not last long. As Hasan Mahmud trapped him on a fourth stump delivery, as he edged it to the keeper trying to drive it. His lethal spell earned him the praise of the netizens. They were soon seen taking to the social media making this spell a trending topic.
