Punjab Kings opening batter Priyansh Arya is currently in Delhi as part of the Outer Delhi Warriors team this DPL 2025 season. Ahead of the match against North Delhi Strikers, Arya formulated his ideal all-round batter.

While he named legendary Indian cricketer Virat Kohli in a couple of categories, the 23-year-old also named Rohit Sharma, Suryakumar Yadav and some former cricketers under certain criterions.

Priyansh Arya was asked to build his ideal batter in cricket amidst the ongoing DPL 2025 season. While speaking with an NDTV reporter on the KnuckleballNDTV channel, the 23-year-old picked Virat Kohli for his technique and temperament.

For his off-side game, Arya picked legendary Indian opener and current ODI captain Rohit Sharma. For innovative strokes, the youngster named India’s T20I skipper Suryakumar Yadav. Here is a look at Priyansh Arya’s ideal batters in various categories as formulated by the youngster himself:

Priyansh Arya recently starred in Punjab Kings’ IPL 2025 runners-up campaign a couple of months ago. Playing all 17 matches for the franchise in his maiden IPL season, the attacking left-hander struck 475 runs at an average of nearly 28 and with a staggering batting strike rate of 179.24.

As of now, he is in Delhi to play the DPL 2025 season for the Outer Delhi Warriors franchise. In his first couple of matches this tournament, Priyansh Arya has managed to list just 42 runs at a strike rate of 123.53.

His team, Outer Delhi Warriors will now face the North Delhi Strikers in match number nine of the DPL 2025 season on Wednesday, August 6.
