Joshua Da Silva, the wicketkeeper batter of West Indies showed great resilience and skills on Day 3 of the second Test match between England and the Windies to secure a 41-lead for the visitors. The right-handed batter remained unbeaten on 82 as Shamar Joseph became the last man to lose his wicket after 71-run final wicket stand.

The final wicket of Shamar Joseph was taken by Mark Wood. It was a length delivery from 'round the wicket to left-handed Joseph. He made room to work it away but got a leading edge to mid on where Gus Atkinson took an easy catch.

West Indies Fightback At Trent Bridge

Joshua Da Silva at the other end was left heartbroken as he was batting brilliantly and was looking all set for his second Test hundred. He did his job though, and West Indies have a great chance to upset England in this second Test after being hammered in the first Test.

England scored 416 while batting first and West Indies in reply lost three wickets under hundred. However, it was then that Alick Athanaze and Kavem Hodge got together and scored 82 and 120 respectively to lead a brilliant comeback by West Indies.
