Chris Woakes' exploits with red cherry in English conditions is a treat to watch and it was the case again on Day 3 of the second Test match between England and West Indies in Trent Bridge. He picked three wickets early in the day, to keep West Indies in control, and two of those wickets came on consecutive deliveries.

The wicket of Jayden Seales on the first delivery he faced, was a classic Woakes wicket. A delivery on that good-length channel, on off and Seales who tried to defend it, missed it completely as the ball sneaked between his bat and pad to knock over the stumps.

Watch Woakes Cleans Up Seales For A Golden Duck

It was the fourth wicket of the innings for Woakes, the first one of those was on Day 2 of the centurion Kavem Hodge. The second one was also an important one of Jason Holder early in Day 3, and in the process he also completed his 1000 career wickets.

However, despite the best efforts from Woakes, West Indies still managed to take the lead with a resilient stand between Joshua Da Silva and number 11, Shamar Joseph.
