The KKR franchise, meanwhile, recently made a number of retentions and releases in lieu of the forthcoming IPL 2024 auctions. The franchise retained senior West Indies members Sunil Narine and Andre Russell, alongside Indian veteran Shreyas Iyer and IPL cult hero Rinku Singh. Here is a look at KKR’s entire list of 13 retained cricketers for next year’s IPL 2024 season:

Nitish Rana, Rinku Singh, Shreyas Iyer, Rahmanullah Gurbaz, Sunil Narine, Jason Roy, Suyash Sharma, Anukul Roy, Andre Russell, Venkatesh Iyer, Harshit Rana, Vaibhav Arora, and Varun Chakaravarthy.

The franchise also brought back former IPL-winning skipper Gautam Gambhir as the team’s new mentor.

The KKR management will be heading into the IPL 2024 auction with an available purse of INR 32.7 crore. As per estimates, they can rope in four overseas stars and 13 players at the bidding event.
