Charismatic Indian batter Jemimah Rodrigues has shared an exciting update for the ‘Women in Blue’ fans ahead of team’s grueling home winter season against the visiting England and Australian sides. A day prior to India’s opening T20I against England, Rodrigues hyped up team’s upcoming fixtures and urged Indian fans to extend their support for the home team.

Jemimah Rodrigues has promised an “exciting winter” for fans of the Indian women’s cricket team up ahead. A day prior to India’s first T20I against England at the iconic Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai, the 23-year-old cricketer shared an exciting short message for Team India followers through BCCI Women’s official media handles. She said:

“Team India fans, are you ready to support us? Our series against England is starting from tomorrow, and will be followed by a series against Australia. It’s going to be an exciting winter.”

Following their emphatic triumph at the Asian Games in Hangzhou back in September, the Indian cricket team, under Harmanpreet Kaur, will be reuniting to face the visiting Englishwomen between December 6 and December 17.

The ‘Women in Blue’ will be engaging in a three-match T20I series, all scheduled to be hosted by Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium. The two teams will subsequently travel to Navi Mumbai’s DY Patil Stadium for their one-off Test match commencing on December 14.

Following India’s home series against England, Harmanpreet Kaur and co. will host world champions Australia for a Test, three ODIs and an additional three T20I matches until the second week of January.
