Meanwhile, following the series sweep to victory, India Women gathered in the dressing room for the fielding medal ceremony. Fielding coach Munish Bali named Harmanpreet Kaur and Jemimah Rodrigues as two of the contenders.

However, Jemimah had an edge as they grabbed five catches, pulled off a crucial runout, and saved 14 runs on the field throughout the series. After receiving the medal from teammate Minnu Mani, Jemimah graciously shared the honour with her skipper.

Besides, fielding coach Munish Bali praised the team for their exceptional efforts, highlighting a 19/22 catch success rate during the series. He set a lofty goal for the team to aim for a perfect 100% catch record in the future.

Indian bowlers dominate third ODI

In the final ODI played at Vadodara on December 27, India's bowlers once again proved their mettle, with Deepti Sharma's career-best six-wicket haul and Renuka Singh's four wickets dismantling the West Indies for just 162 runs. Despite a shaky start to the chase, steady partnerships ensured India sealed a comfortable win and maintained their unbeaten streak. India Women now look ahead to their next challenge against Ireland Women, carrying the momentum of this commanding performance.
