Jemimah Rodrigues returns to Heat with WBBL action around the corner

After the Women’s Big Bash League was introduced to the world of cricket, Women’s cricket witnessed a revolution. As the marquee tournament is set to return with the 11th edition, thrills can’t be higher. Ahead of stepping into the upcoming edition, the Brisbane Heat Women have announced their squad.

Just a few days ago, Jemimah Rodrigues lifted the maiden Women’s Cup trophy for India and is set to shift her focus to the shortest format. After a successful stint last year, the franchise retained the Indian star. After the side released their squad for the first game, Jemimah Rodrigues is all set to shine in the Heat’s jersey once again.

In the last season, the Indian batter played 10 games for the side and scored 267 runs with a lone half-century. The past season must have seen the batter in a little struggle, but her current form can be a massive asset for the side in the new season. Adding to this, South Africa Women’s star Nadine de Klerk will join her in the squad.
