Jasprit Bumrah's workload management

Jasprit Bumrah played a crucial role during their title run in the T20 World Cup 2024. Besides being consistent throughout the tournament, it was his crucial spell during the final that brought India back into the game ultimately leading them to the win that ended the nation's trophy drought.

However, that memorable show, Bumrah has been away from cricketing action. This has been due to a strategic decision by the Indian management. The think tank has decided to conserve their ace pacer for the 'Bigger Occasions.'

Jasprit Bumrah's potential return

Earlier it was believed that Bumrah will be back during India's home Test series against Bangladesh. But as per the recent reports going around the cricketing circuits, Bumrah will make his return during the New Zealand series.

Notably, New Zealand will tour India during October-November this year for a three-match Test series. While this in itself will be an important series for the ongoing WTC cycle, it will also serve as a preparatory ground for the upcoming Border-Gavaskar Trophy, slated to take star from November 22, 2024.

The Indian cricket fans will hope that the ace pacer returns with his full fitness and delivers the spells he is known for taking the nation to greater heights.
