Jasprit Bumrah, the star Indian pacer is now the number 1 Test bowler in ICC rankings after his impressive performance against Bangladesh. The pacer picked 11 wickets in two Test matches against Bangladesh and has replaced Ashwin at the top of the rankings with 870 rating points. The Indian offie also picked 11 wickets in the series and is just one rating point behind his fellow teammate.
Ravindra Jadeja who picked 9 wickets in the series and is at the number six position while the Australian duo of Josh Hazlewood and Pat Cummins occupy number three and number four positions. This is also the second time Jasprit Bumrah has taken the top position in ICC Test rankings with his career-best ratings points recorded as 881 after his performance against England in the Visakhapatnam Test.

Mehidy Hasan, the young Bangladesh all-rounder has also jumped four places and is now ranked 18 in he ICC Test Bowler's rankings after his impressive performance against India. He was also the 'Player of the Series' in Bangladesh's historic series win against Pakistan and has also jumped two spots in the ICC Test All-rounders' rankings. He is now the number five ranked all-rounder in Test cricket. Ravindra Jadeja holds the top position in that list.
Indian batters have also made big gains in the ICC rankings with Yashasvi Jaiswal jumping two positions in the table. He is now the number three ranked batter in ICC Men's Test rankings and was the leading run-scorer in the two-match series against Bangladesh. Virat Kohli has also jumped six positions and is back in the top-10 batters after missing a spot for a brief period.
The Test series against Bangladesh has also boosted India's chances of making it to the third consecutive WTC final. They whitewashed Bangladesh and have consolidated their top position in the World Test Championship table with Australia and Sri Lanka at number 2 and number 3 position.
