In the ongoing first ODI between Australia and Pakistan at the MCG, the visitors are in trouble as they are struggling to put 200 runs on the board. Skipper Mohammad Rizwan was the pick of the batters and missed his fifty by six runs. Meanwhile, other batters disappointed. 

Expectations were high from Kamran Ghulam, who shone with a century in the 2nd Test against England, but the right-hand batter tumbled for just 5 (6), which featured a solitary four. Kamran was humiliated by Pat Cummins as he fell prey to a sharp bouncer.

Commentator Makes Distasteful Remarks Against Ghulam

Meanwhile, the commentators marred into controversy for their distasteful remarks when Ghulam was at the crease. Notably, after the dismissal, commentator Kerry O Keefe trolled Kamran for his shot selection and remarked, 'This is not Multan Pitch Baby, it is MCG.'

The remark has not gone well with the fans, and they have called out the commentator for his distasteful remarks against the Pakistani batters.

Wasim Akram And Michael Vaughan Hogs The Headline For Conversation On Ghulam's Family

Further, Wasim Akram and Michael Vaughan too have landed into a controversy as they are being slammed for bringing Ghulam's family into their conversation. Notably, Akram laid out a fact to the co-commentators and remarked that Kamran is the 11th of 12 brothers and four sisters, to which Vaughan weighed in and made a distasteful remark. 

Wasim Akram: "Kamran Ghulam, comes from a big family, he is the 11th of 12 brothers and 4 sisters. Yup."

Talking about the match, Pakistan are in trouble as the Men in Green are 184/9 after 45 overs.
