Talking about cricketing front, Ishan Kishan has been out of cricketing action and earlier he along with Shreyas Iyer were excluded from the central contract due to their failure to participate in domestic engagements.

His omission from central contract was partly due to his absence from domestic cricket, including the Ranji Trophy, despite being available.

However, Kishan made a comeback playing for the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) in the DY Patil T20 Cup 2024, where he contributed both with the bat and gloves.

In the 2024 IPL, Kishan played for Mumbai Indians, and scored 320 runs in 14 matches at an average of 22.86 and a strike rate of 148.84.

Throughout his T20I career, he has accumulated 796 runs in 32 matches, while in ODIs, he has scored 933 runs in 27 matches, that included a century and seven fifties.
