As the countdown to the IPL 2025 Mega Auction begins, one name making waves for the mega event is Angkrish Raghuvanshi. The 19-year-old batting prodigy was recently spotted at the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) trials, that has sparked speculation that the franchise might target him in the upcoming auction. Known for nurturing young talents, RCB could add Raghuvanshi to their roster as a long-term investment.

It is important to mention that, Angkrish Raghuvanshi gained prominence during the ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup 2022, where he emerged as India’s highest run-getter and played a crucial role in securing the championship.  

In IPL 2024, Raghuvanshi showcased glimpses of his potential while representing Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR). Despite not getting big scores, he impressed with his power-hitting and composure under pressure as he scored 163 runs in 10 matches. 


Should RCB Target Angkrish Raghuvanshi For IPL 2025? 

RCB has a history of backing young talent, and Raghuvanshi fits the bill perfectly. His aggressive batting style and ability to bat in multiple positions make him a versatile option for the team’s top order for IPL 2025. Given his age and playing style, he could be groomed as a long-term asset for the franchise.
