The IPL 2025 mega auction is just around the corner, and the excitement around the event is increasing with each passing day. All the franchises have announced their retention list and one of the most popular of them, RCB have retained three players. They are Virat Kohli, Rajat Patidar and Yash Dayal and it seems that RCB want to focus on building a good Indian core.
The Bengaluru-based franchise has not won a single season so far and one of the problems have been the lack of strength in their young Indian contingent. They need to rectify that in the upcoming auction and for that, they need to buy some good quality Indian uncapped players. So, here are the there uncapped players that RCB will target in the mega auction to be held on 24th and 25th of November.
Anshul Kamboj

Why will RCB target Anshul Kamboj?
The Haryana pacer grabbed plenty of eyeballs recently with his record-breaking feat of taking all 10 wickets in an innings of a Ranji match. He has done well across formats in the last couple of years in domestic cricket and also played three matches for Mumbai Indians in the last season. He picked just two wickets, but with more experience and success behind his back now, he would be one of the hot assets and RCB would surely benefit with his inclusion.
In a high-profile encounter between India A and Pakistan A during the Emerging Asia Cup recently, Anshul Kamboj bagged a three-wicket haul. He emerged as a player of the match in that T20 game, so he has the skills to deliver in a pressure game as well and RCB would surely like to target him.
Abdul Samad

Why will RCB target Abdul Samad?
A powerful hitter of the cricket ball and a handy off-spinner, Abdul Samad is a great package for the shortest format. He has been associated with Sunrisers Hyderabad for quite a few years now, and show glimpses of his talent with some handy cameos.
RCB plays most of its matches on a flat deck at Chinnaswamy and they need power-hitters in their line-up and Abdul Samad fits perfectly into that role. He can be used as a floater and as a finisher, something which RCB will need after the exit of Dinesh Karthik.
Angkrish Raghuvanshi

Why will RCB target Angkrish Raghuvanshi?
Angkrish Raghuvanshi was India's highest run-getter at the 2022 U19 World Cup and displayed some great antics with the bat for KKR in IPL 2024. He did not get big scores, but showed great power-hitting skills and is surely a talent that would shine in future. RCB are known to back U19 talents and Raghuvanshi could be another addition in that list.
He would provide firepower in the top order and could be groom as a long term option by RCB. He has started off his career in red-ball format on a positive note as well and so can be a great buy as he would come at a low cost and might provide some long term benefits.
