Yashasvi Jaiswal, India's rising cricket star, has once again made headlines, this time for his latest surge in the ICC Test Rankings. After a successful red ball series against Bangladesh, Jaiswal jumped to a career-high 3rd spot in ICC Test batting rankings.

Yashasvi Jaiswal's rise in cricket has been nothing short of extraordinary. Born in 2001, the young left-handed opener made his international debut for India in July 2023 after impressing with consistent performances in domestic cricket and the IPL. 

Since his debut, Yashasvi Jaiswal has rapidly climbed the ranks to establish himself as one of the brightest talents in world cricket. Jaiswal's impact on Test cricket has been remarkable. 

He scored over 700 runs in five-game Test series against England followed by being the lead score in the recently concluded Test series against Bangladesh.

With the year 2024 yet to conclude, Yashasvi Jaiswal has already secured a career-high 3rd position in latest revised ICC Test batting ranking. At just 22, Jaiswal is ranked 3rd in Test and 4th in T20I ranking, which is a remarkable achievement for the young gun. 

Meanwhile, fans have taken to social media platforms to express their admiration for the 22-year-old, with many calling him a role model for the next generation of cricketers.




Having said that, despite his rapid rise in Tests and T20s, Jaiswal has yet to make his ODI debut for India. However, given his performances in other formats, it is only a matter of time before he gets his chance to don the blue jersey in One Day Internationals.

Regardless, at 22, Yashasvi Jaiswal is seen as one of India's most promising young cricketers. His journey from humble beginnings to becoming a key figure in international cricket serves as an inspiration to aspiring players worldwide.
