Indian Players Share Their Views On Virender Sehwag, As ICC Inducts Him In HOF

Team India have been playing fearless cricket as Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill are giving flyer of starts which helps the middle-order batters to keep going. In this fashion, Rohit and his men have aced the league stage and are yet to face a defeat in the World Cup 2023

Virender Sehwag played a similar kind of cricket in the World Cup 2011 and used to smack the bowlers from the first ball of the innings. He even has a record of hitting a boundary on the first ball of every game of the World Cup 2011.

Recently, ICC introduced Virender Sehwag as the Hall of Fame inductee. The current Indian players were asked a few questions about the dangerous right-handed batter and how they would describe him in their own words. 

Here's what the Indian players said Sehwag

Here in this video shared by ICC, the Indian players, Shubman Gill, Hardik Pandya, Suryakumar Yadav and Ravindra Jadeja were asked to describe Virender Sehwag in one word. Jadeja described him as 'Danger', Hardik Pandya as 'Destructive', Surya as 'fearless', while Shubman Gill described him as 'Flamboyant'. 

Then the players were asked about their favourite memory of Virender Sehwag from the World Cup, to which Shubman Gill answered by saying, that him hitting the boundary on the very first ball in every game was the best memory. Even Hardik Pandya and Suryakumar agreed that what Sehwag did in 2011 was just insane. Surya further said that he has taken one thing from the delhite and it's the the fearlessness of him. 

Hardik Pandya and Shubman further explained that his way of playing cricket has transformed the sport for a lot of the players especially the youngsters big time.
