India To Face Pakistan In Champions Trophy On February 23; Check Rohit And Co's Full Schedule

On Saturday, December 21, in a significant development, the ICC finally released the schedule for Champions Trophy 2025. After a long delay, it has now been confirmed that India will take on Pakistan in Dubai on February 23. 

India are placed in group A alongside Pakistan, New Zealand, and Bangladesh. Meanwhile, Group B include- South Africa, Australia, England, and Afghanistan.

The 15-match tournament will kickstart from February 19 as Pakistan will take on New Zealand in the tournament opener match at the Karachi Stadium. The final will take place at a neutral venue on March 9 and a reserve day has also been kept in case of a rain on the day of final.

India will start their campaign with match against Bangladesh on February 20. They will then face Pakistan on February 23 before taking on New Zealand on March 2. Further, if India qualify for the semis and final, it will take place at a neutral venue, which is yet to be announced.

ICC Agree For Neutral Venue For India-Pakistan Matches

Recently, the ICC officially announced that they have agreed for a hybrid model for India-Pakistan matches. Notably, the venue has not been revealed but it will either be Dubai or Colombo.

India and Pakistan have signed a agreement that the two nations will lock horns against each other at a neutral venue till 2027. Pakistan will also not travel to India for ICC events till 2027, which include Women's T20 World Cup 2025 and ICC T20 World Cup 2026.
