The 3rd ODI between Afghanistan and Zimbabwe is underway at the Harare Sports Club in Zimbabwe. It is a crucial game for both teams as Afghanistan lead the series 1-0 and are looking for a win to clinch the series, while the hosts are looking to level the proceedings.

In the ongoing match, Zimbabwe, batting first, registered another batting failure as they are 95/8 after 23 overs at the time of writing this article. Meanwhile, eyes were on Rashid Khan, who came to bowl for the first time in this series.

The first match was washed off because of rain, and Rashid didn't get the ball in the 2nd ODI as the seamers did the job that helped Afghanistan register a 232-run win. Most importantly, Rashid struck in his first over and took a wicket.

He went for a four on the first ball he bowled in the series and then struck on the fourth ball of his first over when he got rid of Sikandar Raza. He got the dangerous man and trapped him in front of the wickets after deceiving the former Punjab Kings player with a googly.

Allah Ghazanfar Shines With New Ball

At time of writing this article, Rashid has taken three wickets in his 7 overs, but Allah has been the star with the ball as the 17-year-old registered a five-wicket haul to outshine Rashid Khan in this match. He is having a brilliant series as he also took three wickets in the previous match. 

In the ongoing match, Ghazanfar registered the figures of 5/33 in his 10 overs. He was roped in by Mumbai Indians for IPL 2025.
