ICC World Cup 2023 | Here's The Schedule For India's Warm-Up Matches

The excitement and anticipation for the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 are in full flow, with the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) finally releasing the schedule for the marquee event.

The quadrennial event will take place across the length and breadth of the country between October 05-November 19, 2023.

Defending champions England will open the tournament with their clash against the 2019 runners-up, New Zealand, at the iconic Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on October 05.

Two-time champions and hosts, India, will kick start their campaign against five-time winners, Australia, at the M.A Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai on October 08. The much-awaited Indo-Pak clash will take place in Ahmedabad on October 15.

Ahead of their campaign, the Men in Blue will play a couple of warm-up fixtures to give the finishing touches to their preparations.

India will play their opening warm-up game against defending champions England in Guwahati on September 30 before taking on the first qualifying team in Thiruvananthapuram on October 03.

Qualifier 01 will be decided shortly after the ongoing World Cup Qualifiers end in Zimbabwe.
