Australian cricket star Steve Smith found himself not just battling the Indian bowlers but also the scorching heat during the 3rd ODI between India and Australia at the Saurashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Rajkot. While Smith showed glimpses of his cricketing prowess by scoring 74 runs.

Smith, currently in India for the World Cup 2023 and three-match ODI series, showcased his class with the bat against the Indian bowlers. However, it was apparent that the relentless heat and humidity in Rajkot were formidable adversaries.

The Australian batsman seemed to recover momentarily, but his struggle with the extreme conditions persisted. Just one over later, Smith once again called for drinks, accompanied by a chair and the trusty ice pack.

In a candid revelation, Smith took to his Instagram story to express his thoughts on the Rajkot weather, describing it as

"Hottest Conditions I've batted in."

Despite the adverse weather conditions, Australia won the match by a convincing margin of 66 runs. The victory allowed Australia to salvage some pride in the 3-match ODI series, which India had already clinched with a 2-1 lead.
