In the thrilling ongoing match between Afghanistan and Bangladesh, Rashid Khan showcased his all-round skills to lead his team to a strong position. 

After contributing a vital cameo in Afghanistan's innings to help them post a competitive 115/5, Rashid turned the game in his team's favour with his exceptional bowling. Bangladesh struggled to build any significant momentum, and lost wickets at regular intervals. 

In his first over, the Afghanistan captain dismissed Soumya Sarkar with a brilliant leg-break delivery. The ball was pitched shorter with a flatter trajectory and quicker through the air. 

Sarkar attempted to flick, was completely beaten, and the ball crashed into the top of the middle stump. 

He had managed a run-a-ball 10 and had to depart, leaving Bangladesh in further disarray.

Rashid Khan's strike left Bangladesh reeling at the loss of their fourth wicket, highlighting the ineffectiveness of their decision to promote Sarkar up the order. 

His failure to contribute significantly added to Bangladesh's woes, allowing Afghanistan to tighten their grip on the match.

Bangladesh found themselves in deep trouble and have already lost seven wickets at 81 runs in 10 overs. At the time of writing, Bangladesh needed 35 runs off 52 balls to qualify for the semi-finals.
