With as many as six record-winning Asia Cup titles since 1984, India have seen several batters help the nation reach unprecedented heights.

Kohli's 183 remains the highest individual score in Asia Cup (ODI) history, which is also the top-most by an Indian in the tournament.

The Delhi-born took charge and unleashed an assault on Pakistan bowlers, scoring as many as 22 fours and one solitary six in his 183-run knock. Despite Tendulkar's fall, Kohli's surge saw no end, and the batter raced to a century in  97 balls before going hammer and tong in the next 51.
