Harmanpreet kaur, the Indian skipper who created a lot of buzz after the India Women and Bangladesh Women ODI with her angry antics, is set to be fined 75 percent match fee and will receive 4 demerit points.

In the third ODI between Indian Women and Bangladesh Women which ended in a thrilling tie, Harmanpreet Kaur smashed stumps with her bat after given out by the umpire which she felt was not out. There were many other decisions from the umpires which did not go well with the Indian team that created the tension which came out in the post-match presentation from Harmanpreet Kaur.

Harmanpreet criticised umpires for their poor decisions and even called it pathetic that did not go well with the Bangladeshi team and their fans.

This is what Harmanpreet Kaur said in the post-match presentation -

" Well I think a lot of learning from this game. Apart from the way of umpiring, everything was good. We were really surprised by the way of umpiring. Whenever we come to Bangladesh again, we make sure that we find a way to deal with this type of umpiring,"

"Yeah, I think they batted really well no doubt about it, they were batting according to the situation and taking the singles. I think in between we leaked a few runs, and while batting we lost some wickets. As I said some pathetic umpiring, really disappointed about some decisions given by the umpires."

According to the report from Cricbuzz, Kaur will be fined 50 percent of her match fee for smashing the stumps while 25 percent more for her comments in post-match presentation. She will also receive four demerit points for the incident and is in danger of being banned in at least one Test or two limited over games.
