Virat Kohli, fondly known as the 'King' has waived his magic yet again and has now scored his 29th century in Test cricket in the second Test against the Windies. He has equalled Don Bradman with this century and this is his first overseas hundred after the one in Perth in 2018.  Kohli is also now the first cricketer to score a Test century in his 500th international game and has broken flurry of record in this memorable knock.

This is his 76th century across formats and he just seems to be ageing like a fine wine at the moment. The feature of this memorable knock has been his patience and the application to fight it out when the Windies were on a roll in the second session on Day 2. Virat Kohli went out to bat when India lost the wickets of Yashasvi Jaiswal and Gill in quick succession and then lost two more wickets to put India in a spot of bother.

However, Kohli was solid in his approach and mixed caution with aggression beautifully to deliver for his side when they needed it the most. Kohli is also now third in the list for most centuries against West Indies as he has overtaken Ab de Villiers with his 12th century against the Men in Maroon.

Virat Kohli has also overpassed Brian Lara with his 25th century at number 4 in Tests, and only Mahela Jayawardene, Kallis, and Sachin Tendulkar are ahead in this list now. Talking about this second Test match, India are in a very strong position with a brilliant century stand between Jadeja and Kohli. At the time of writing, India are 334-4 at the end of 95 overs, with Kohli batting on 117 and Jadeja looking solid on 56.
