In the records of Caribbean Premier League history, no franchise has mastered the art of winning quite like the Trinbago Knight Riders. Their commanding victory over the Guyana Amazon Warriors in the CPL 2025 final was the latest chapter in a dynasty of dominance.
With this triumph, the Knight Riders have now lifted an astonishing fifth trophy since 2020, so let's take a look at how they held their nerves in other title wins over the years.

Chasing 179, Tridents started well with Dwayne Smith’s 49, but regular breakthroughs derailed their momentum. Sulieman Benn’s 2/24 and Derone Davis’ 1/18 restricted them to 158/4, sealing a memorable victory for Red Steel in front of their home crowd.
2) 2017 Final vs St Kitts and Nevis Patriots
On September 9, 2017, at the Brian Lara Stadium in Tarouba, Trinbago Knight Riders captured their second CPL title with a thrilling three-wicket win over St Kitts and Nevis Patriots. Chasing 136, Trinbago slipped to 90/7 after regular wickets from Sheldon Cottrell, Mohammad Hafeez, and Tabraiz Shamsi. However, Denesh Ramdin’s composed 26* steadied the innings before Kevon Cooper turned the match with a blistering 29* off just 14 balls, smashing two fours and two sixes.
