On Tuesday, July 29, the ICC updated their weekly ranking charts for women's cricket. In the latest rankings, England captain Nat Sciver-Brunt has reclaimed the No.1 spot in ODIs and dethroned Smriti Mandhana from the top spot.

England Captain Pips India Opener

For the first time in 2025, the 32-year-old England star has jumped to the top spot, courtesy of her brilliant performance in the recently concluded ODI series against India. While, England suffered a 1-2 series defeat at home, Nat Sciver-Brunt had a great individual run as she amassed 160 runs in three matches, averaging 53.33.

Brunt played a 98-runs knock in the third ODI and has now jumped to the No.1 spot with 731 rating points. Mandhana, on the other hand, had a good series, but not at par with Sciver Brunt. The India opener scored 115 runs in three innings, failing to register a solitary fifty.

Mandhana has dropped a spot and is now ranked second on the ICC rankings with 728 rating points.

Harmanpreet Kaur Takes A Big Jump

India skipper Harmanpreet Kaur also got rewarded for her brilliant performance in the recently concluded series and witnessed a jump of 10 spots to now rank 11th on the list. The rise was possible because of Kaur's record-breaking century in the 3rd and series-decider match in Durham.

The 36-year-old scored 102 (84) and now has 732 rating points. Jemimah Rodrigues isn't too far away as the right-handed batter saw a rise of two spots to sit on the 13th place in the rankings.

No Gain For The Bowlers

There wasn't much change in the bowler's ranking as Deepti Sharma continues to be India's highest-ranked bowler as the right-arm spinner is placed 4th on the rankings. After Deepti, no other Indian bowler is in top 10 and Sneh Rana is the next best-ranked bowler with 21st spot on the ranking.

Shedding light on Deepti Sharma, the 27-year-old took just a solitary wicket in the recently concluded series.
