Sachin Tendulkar, who rarely registered a duck in his international batting career, recently shared his profound love for the adorable waterfowl species through a hilarious social media post. On July 31, the former Indian batter took to X (formerly known as Twitter) and shared an analogy between cricket’s dreadful score and the delightful water bird.

In his post, Tendulkar can be seen feeding a couple of ducks near lakeside all while enjoying the pristine beauty of the surrounding nature.

Sachin Tendulkar, having made his international debut in 1989 under a baptism of fire in Pakistan as a 16-year-old, announced his Team India exit after 24 rigorous years of service in 2013. During his playing days, the cricketer claimed numerous batting milestones, including the prestigious record of stacking up most international runs and the highest number of centuries (100).

Moreover, Tendulkar also secured a World Cup in front of his home country during the twilight stages of his career in 2011. The cricketer confirmed his retirement from all forms of competitive cricket after bagging the IPL title in 2013 under the leadership of Rohit Sharma.
