After incredible performances, Deepti has rose to the fifth spot, while Hayley Mathews is placed 7th on the list.
The latest weekly update of the ICC ranking brings some interesting changes. While Deepti Sharma and Hayley Matthews continue to shine, Jemimah Rodrigues, Richa Ghosh, and Harleen Deol have shattered the charts, showcasing their remarkable form and making a significant mark on the global stage.
Deepti Sharma And Hayley Matthews’ Domination In ICC Rankings
Bouncing back from a string of setbacks, India Women triumphed to victory against West Indies in a limited-over series. The Harmanpreet Kaur-led side dominated the ODI series and whitewashed the opponent in style. All-rounder Deepti Sharma shined throughout the series with his exceptional all-round skill.
In the last ODI game, Deepti Sharma dazzled with an incredible performance by securing 6 wickets and an unbeaten 39 runs. Apart from this, she shined throughout the series. With that, she moved up to the 6th position on the ICC Women ODI all-rounder list. Along with that, she moved up to the fifth position of the ICC Women’s ODI bowling ranking.
Along with her, West Indies skipper Hayley Matthews witnessed a significant rise in batting ranking. In the recently ended ODI series against India Women, Matthews shined despite setbacks. In the second ODI match, he played an exceptional knock of 106 runs in 109 balls. With that performance, he moved up to the seventh position in the ICC Women’s ODI batting rankings.
