Australia, set to play three-match ODI series and a five-match T20 series against India, landed in India on Wednesday, September 20.

David Warner gave an update through an Instagram post, in which the opening batter can be seen posing with security personnel at Aerocity, New Delhi.

In a heartfelt Instagram post, Warner lauded Indian authorities for their exceptional care and support towards him and his team. Here's what he wrote in the caption:

"Always great to be welcomed back to india. We are always well looked after and well protected. Thanks so much. @gmraerocity always makes our transits so easy. #india #love".

Earlier, Steve Smith posted a picture of himself with Marnus Labuschagne and all-rounder Mitchell Marsh from their hotel room in India.

Australian Star Return to Action

Australia named a 18-member squad for their upcoming 3-match series against India. Unfortunately, opener Travis Head, recovering from a broken hand, has been omitted from the squad for the India series and may sit out the initial World Cup matches commencing on October 5.

The upcoming ODI series also sees the return of their star players Pat Cummins, Steve Smith, Mitchell Starc, and Glenn Maxwell. While Cummins and Smith had been recovering from wrist injuries, Starc had been grappling with groin and shoulder injuries.

Their tall all-rounder, Cameron Green, who missed three ODIs against South Africa due to a concussion, has also been declared fit and is likely to feature in the upcoming series against India.

Australia will play the first ODI in Mohali on September 22 before heading to Indore for the 2nd ODI on September 24 before finishing the series in Rajkot on Wednesday, September 27.
