The Caribbean Premier League (CPL) is back, promising another exhilarating season of high-octane T20 action. Scheduled to be played across six Caribbean countries from August 14 to September 21, the CPL 2025 season will mark the tournament’s 13th edition.
Nonetheless, ahead of the highly-awaited CPL 2025 event commencing in August later this year, here is a look at all the details of the impending edition of the Caribbean T20 carnival.
CPL 2025 Venues
The CPL 2025 season will be hosted by seven different venues across six different Caribbean countries. Trinidad and Tobago is the only country where matches will be staged in two different stadiums. The seven CPL 2025 venues are:
Sir Vivian Richards Stadium (Antigua and Barbuda)
Kensington Oval (Barbados)
Providence Stadium (Guyana)
Warner Park Sporting Complex (Saint Kitts and Nevis)
Daren Sammy Cricket Ground (Saint Lucia)
Brian Lara Cricket Academy (Trinidad and Tobago)
Queen’s Park Oval (Trinidad and Tobago)
CPL 2025 Teams
Much like the preceding editions of the CPL, the CPL 2025 season will be contested between six teams, namely Antigua & Barbuda Falcons, Barbados Royals, Guyana Amazon Warriors, St Kitts & Nevis Patriots, Saint Lucia Kings and Trinbago Knight Riders. The Saint Lucia Kings will start out as defending champions.

While the CPL 2024 season last year was broadcasted and live streamed on the Star Sports network and FanCode app respectively, the 2025 edition of the tournament will also likely be covered on the aforementioned platforms. CPL 2025 Squads
There will be a player draft as well as a round of pre-draft signings ahead of the CPL 2025 season. The squads of all six competing teams will be updated in due time.
