Making his comeback into the Indian Premier League (IPL) after a gap of almost two years, Ishant Sharma delivered big time for Delhi Capitals (DC) against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi.

The right-armer who bowled four overs in the game bagged figures of 2 for 19 as he bowled at an economy rate of 4.8. However, as soon as he completed his spell by the end of 12 overs, he was replaced by Prithvi Shaw as 'Impact Player'.

By the time he left the field, KKR were on 73 with six wickets down as Jason Roy and Andre Russell were still on the crease.

Shaw was one of the reserves among Yash Dhull, Sarfaraz Khan, Ripal Patel and Chetan Sakariya with Prithvi getting the nod on almost all occasions.

Delhi are without a win in the current season with five losses on the trot and are looking to turn the tables around with some changes in their line-up for this game.

Also, Phil Salt will be making his debut in the IPL and will have a crucial role to play with the bat.
